Collections Advisor

Collections Advisor, Coleshill

Hours – 9 – 5 pm (Monday – Friday)

Salary range £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dealing with a high volume of calls, letters, text messages and emails
• Communicating with customers
• Working with customers and business partners to secure payments
• Ensuring all arrears are kept to a minimum
• Understand the financial circumstances and requirements of the customer and work with the customer to identify a solution
• Building rapport and strong relationships providing a quality-oriented, highly customer-focused service

COMPLIANCE, TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Keep up to date with compliance regulation updates
• Attend and/or complete any mandatory training courses stipulated by the Company
• Lead by example and embed the conduct rules in every aspect of your work
• Identify and approve relevant training opportunities

EXPERIENCE/PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Experience within a collections and/or credit control environment
• Excellent telephone and negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in IT software packages
• Confidence, resilience and strong team-working skills
• A driven approach to your work, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
