Student Finance & College Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Student Finance & College Administrator to join a friendly college administration team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced education environment, supporting students throughout the student finance application process.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and administer student finance applications accurately and efficiently.

• Support students with queries relating to student finance, funding and application documentation.

• Carry out high-volume data entry and maintain accurate student records.

• Update internal databases and student management systems.

• Assist with admissions, enrolment and general student services administration.

• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with college procedures.

• Prepare correspondence, reports and general administrative paperwork.

• Provide administrative support to the wider college team, including filing, scanning and document management.

• Deliver a high standard of customer service to students, colleagues and external stakeholders.

• Ensure all work is completed accurately, confidentially and in line with college policies and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous administration or office support experience.

• Strong data entry and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• The ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience within a college, university, school, Further Education (FE) or Higher Education (HE) setting, or experience supporting student finance, admissions, enrolment or student records, would be highly advantageous.

• An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service is essential, or you must be willing to obtain one prior to starting.
