Job Description

Suppleo Education are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic provision supporting children from 16+.  The successful individual may have the opportunity of the role being made permanent if successful during the period required.

Transition Assistant

To support the administration and implementation of the College Admissions function.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• To support the delivery of the cross-college admissions and transition function, as directed by the Senior Officer: Admissions
• To contribute to the administration and organisation of the school’s liaison programme, including careers events, school visits and taster activities
• To work in partnership with external and internal stakeholders to provide an admissions and transition function that is efficient and effective
• To support the administration of the interview processes
• To process UCAS applications for Higher Education courses offered at the College
• To monitor electronic learner applications
• To contribute to the planning and development of the cross-college admissions and transition function to ensure student satisfaction and retention
• To support with the enrolment process, responding to telephone and email queries within an appropriate time frame
