The Role

Our client, a successful and growing business based on the outskirts of Huntingdon, is looking to recruit a Commercial Administrator to support their Commercial Team. This is a varied role where you'll play a key part in ensuring commercial processes run efficiently while providing first-class administrative support to both colleagues and customers.

You'll work closely with departments across the business including Planning, Procurement, Technical and Packaging, helping to coordinate information, maintain key reports and support the day-to-day management of customer accounts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to the Commercial Team
  • Managing day-to-day administration for customer accounts
  • Maintaining commercial trackers, spreadsheets and internal systems
  • Preparing weekly sales reports and updating performance data
  • Producing and distributing commercial documentation
  • Updating internal and customer KPI reports
  • Assisting with forecasting, product launches and line changes
  • Coordinating with Planning, Procurement, Technical and Packaging teams
  • Liaising with customers and external stakeholders where required
  • Preparing presentations and meeting documentation
  • Ensuring information is accurate, up to date and communicated across the business
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the commercial function

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a Commercial Administrator, Sales Administrator or Customer Support role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced commercial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge including formulas, VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
  • Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident communicating with colleagues, customers and suppliers
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Full UK driving licence preferred

Salary & Working Hours

Hours: Monday to Thursday, some flexibility required between 06:00 and 16:30

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.
