Commercial Analyst and Demand Planning Manager

Evolve have partnered with a leading pharmaceutical organisation who are seeking a Commercial Analyst and Demand Planning Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to combine commercial analysis, demand forecasting and supply chain planning to support strategic business decisions across global markets. Working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, you'll play a key role in driving business performance, supporting product launches and ensuring products reach the right markets at the right time.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our client's head office in Hertfordshire, operating on a hybrid working model with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Ideal Requirements for the Commercial Analyst and Demand Planning Manager

• Proven experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of commercial markets and the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
• Strong forecasting and analytical expertise, with experience in demand planning, sales forecasting or commercial analytics that supports strategic decision-making and business growth.
• Experience working across international markets, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and Medical Affairs to deliver successful business outcomes.
• A track record of supporting product launches and long-term commercial planning, including market assessments, scenario planning and lifecycle management in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities for the Commercial Analyst and Demand Planning Manager

• Drive commercial strategy by delivering market intelligence, forecasting and in-depth analysis that shapes product performance and identifies exciting new in-licensing opportunities across EPM markets.
• Lead forecasting and business planning, owning sales and demand forecasts while partnering with Finance to support budgets, monthly forecasts and long-term strategic planning.
• Influence product success through market assessments for new products, indications and formulations, providing insights into market dynamics, pricing, reimbursement and launch strategies.
• Champion cross-functional collaboration by leading the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, working closely with Commercial, Finance and Trade Operations teams to ensure supply continuity, optimise inventory and drive business performance.
