Commercial Coordinator

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Coordinator to join a prestigious and successful manufacturing business, working as part of their busy Estimating team.

This is a varied and commercially focused role where you'll work closely with suppliers and the Sales team, helping to deliver the right products, pricing and solutions for customers. Were looking for someone who is confident, organised and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in buying, procurement, supply chain or commercial operations.

You don't need to have followed a traditional Supply Chain career path - transferable experience from Buying, Procurement, Sourcing, Estimating, Sales Support, Customer Service or Commercial roles could be a great fit. Recent graduates with relevant knowledge are also encouraged to apply.

What will you be doing as a Commercial Coordinator?

• Liaising between suppliers and the Sales team to meet customer requirements
• Pricing products and responding to customer requests within agreed margins and timescales
• Reviewing selling prices to ensure they remain competitive within the marketplace
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers and internal teams
• Negotiating with suppliers, including fixed-price periods
• Identifying and delivering cost-saving opportunities
• Supporting buying, sourcing and purchasing activity
• Creating and developing processes and systems to calculate costs and margins
• Maintaining accurate product, pricing and supplier information across relevant systems
• Producing, reviewing and updating product review schedules
• Working closely with the Estimating and Sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Managing your own workload, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines
• Looking for opportunities to improve processes and add value to the business

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in Buying, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Estimating, Commercial, Sales Support or a similar role would be advantageous
• Experience working with suppliers and/or customers
• Strong commercial awareness and a keen interest in how businesses operate
• Confident negotiation and influencing skills
• Excellent organisation skills with a logical and methodical approach
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to build positive relationships with people at all levels
• A proactive, forward-thinking and solutions-focused approach
• Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple priorities
• Strong IT skills and confidence working with systems and data
• Excellent communication skills
• A genuine willingness to learn and develop your career

Whether you have relevant commercial experience or are a recent graduate with knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics or a similar subject, we'd LOVE to hear from you.
