Workshop Recruitment are looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician Are you an experienced Commercial Electrician with 10+ years' experience working across commercial electrical projects and a strong understanding of installations, maintenance and testing? Workshop Recruitment are looking for a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join an established electrical services business delivering high-quality work across commercial and industrial environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who is confident working independently, while also being able to work effectively as part of a wider team. The majority of projects are local to the Portsmouth area, with occasional travel of up to approximately 1.5 hours, must live local to Portsmouth, van and fuel card supplied.

The Role As a Commercial Electrician, you will:

• Carry out commercial electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
• Complete electrical testing, fault finding and remedial works.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Work across a variety of commercial buildings and projects.
• Ensure all work meets current electrical regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely.
• Work independently while supporting colleagues and other trades when required.
• Maintain excellent health, safety and housekeeping standards on every project.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 10+ years' experience working as a Commercial Electrician.
• Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations and maintenance.
• Experience with inspection, testing and fault finding.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification is preferred.
• Valid ECS/CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Able to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, reliability and problem-solving skills.
• Able to provide two professional references covering previous employment.
