How you will contribute to transforming the smart energy network and shaping the future

  • Lead the mobilisation, planning and successful delivery of complex programmes aligned to strategic business objectives.
  • Manage programme governance, finances, risks, issues, dependencies and delivery reporting across multiple workstreams.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, suppliers, regulatory bodies and industry participants.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide leadership across programme delivery activities within a matrix-managed environment.
  • Ensure programmes remain focused on delivering measurable benefits while driving continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

What you need to bring:

  • Demonstrable experience operating at Programme Manager level, delivering complex programmes rather than solely project-level initiatives.
  • Strong programme governance, planning, dependency management, risk management and benefits realisation experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders, suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience working within complex delivery environments, ideally involving technology change, infrastructure programmes, regulated sectors or critical national infrastructure.
  • Relevant programme management credentials such as MSP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent practical experience, alongside strong strategic thinking and leadership capability.
