Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, providing commercially focused financial insight, supporting strategic decision making, and leading an established finance function.
The successful candidate will combine strong financial leadership with a genuine ability to influence stakeholders, challenge constructively, and identify opportunities for business improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to influence strategic and operational decision making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities
- Deliver insightful management reporting, KPI analysis and business performance reviews
- Drive financial controls, governance and risk management processes
- Support commercial initiatives through robust financial evaluation and modelling
- Lead, coach and develop the finance team
- Oversee statutory compliance, audit activity and company governance requirements
- Identify efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities across the organisation
- Strong commercial acumen and business partnering capability
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Professional accounting qualification and/or relevant degree preferred
