Commercial Finance Manager – International Markets
Location: London, Hybrid
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000
Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
The Advocate Group are partnering with a globally renowned premium drinks business, home to some of the world's most recognisable and respected brands, to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing international finance function, taking ownership of commercial finance business partnering across a diverse portfolio of Middle Eastern and surrounding markets.
Working within a large, established finance team supporting multiple international markets, you'll play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance, influencing strategic decisions and ensuring financial discipline across a premium branded portfolio.
With responsibility spanning markets including the UAE, Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Egypt and Turkey, you'll work closely with senior commercial stakeholders, international brand teams and colleagues based in Dubai.
This is a genuinely commercial position, requiring someone who can look beyond the numbers, challenge thinking and influence decisions in a fast-paced, international environment.
The Role
As Commercial Finance Manager, you'll act as a trusted finance partner to commercial leadership, providing the financial insight, analysis and strategic support needed to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with commercial teams across multiple international markets, providing financial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting cycles, ensuring commercial performance is accurately monitored and communicated.
- Evaluating commercial investments, marketing initiatives and promotional activities to ensure financial viability and alignment with the business's premium brand positioning.
- Working closely with distributor partners and regional stakeholders to understand market performance, identify opportunities and support profitable growth.
- Providing financial challenge and commercial recommendations to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions around investment, profitability and market development.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the Dubai office, international finance teams and global brand functions to ensure effective financial business partnering.
- Supporting and developing a Finance Analyst, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, commercial visibility and decision-making across the region.
About You
We're looking for a commercially astute finance professional who combines strong technical capability with the confidence, credibility and interpersonal skills to influence senior stakeholders.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience as a Commercial Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner or in a comparable commercially focused finance position.
- A strong background within FMCG, consumer goods, drinks or another fast-moving branded environment.
- Proven experience partnering with commercial teams, challenging decisions and translating financial information into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and commercial analysis capabilities.
- The confidence and gravitas to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
- Experience evaluating commercial investments, profitability and return on investment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information and influence non-finance stakeholders.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach, comfortable operating in a high-performing, fast-paced international business.
Previous Middle Eastern market experience is not essential. However, exposure to international markets, distributor-led business models or regional commercial finance would be particularly advantageous.
Above all, we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, establish credibility quickly and make a meaningful commercial impact.
If you're an experienced Commercial Finance Manager with a strong FMCG background, commercial instinct and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders, we'd be keen to speak with you.
