Commercial Gas Engineer – East London

An established building services contractor is seeking experienced Commercial Gas Engineers to support a growing portfolio of commercial and public sector contracts across East London.

Multiple positions available across East London.

The Role

Duties will include:

  • Commercial gas PPMs
  • Reactive breakdowns
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Call outs and emergency repairs
  • Quoted works
  • Minor installation works
  • Commissioning works where required

  • Schools
  • Universities
  • NHS sites
  • Council buildings
  • Student accommodation
  • Care and extra care facilities

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications
  • Proven experience within commercial environments
  • Strong service and maintenance background
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent fault-finding skills
  • PASMA/IPAF advantageous

Package

£20.00 – £25.00 per hour

Company van and fuel card

Gas analyser provided

Standard hand tools supplied

Paid travel time (30 mins deducted each way)

Overtime rates at 1.25x / 1.5x

Call out rota 1 week in 6

Standby payments plus call out payments:

  • Mon–Thurs £20
  • Fri £30
  • Sat/Sun £35
