As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on gas systems across domestic, (potentially commercial, and industrial) Your role will involve diagnosing and repairing faults, performing new installations, and ensuring all work meets industry standards and service level agreements. Additionally, you will provide first-line emergency response during both normal working hours and on-call periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on gas systems.
• Undertake new installations and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) with full documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Work independently and collaboratively on large-scale projects.
• Mentor and support apprentices within the team.
• Maintain a proactive and problem-solving approach to daily tasks.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Proven experience in domestic gas environments.
✔ Domestic Gas Certification.
✔ OFTEC & GasSafe registered.
✔ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to work both independently and within a team.
✔ Willingness to train and mentor apprentices.
✔ A full, clean UK driving licence.
✔ A current Disclosure Scotland/PVG check (or willingness to obtain one).
