We are looking for an experienced Commercial Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who is confident working in commercial environments and looking for a stable role with no out-of-hours call-outs.

You will be responsible for carrying out service, repair and installation work across a range of commercial sites, providing a professional and reliable service to our customers.

The Role

• Carrying out planned and reactive service and repair work within commercial settings.
• Installing equipment and systems to a high standard.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Completing testing, inspection and commissioning where required.
• Maintaining accurate service and job records.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant health and safety procedures.
• Representing the company professionally when working on customer sites.
• Working independently while maintaining good communication with the wider team.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday – standard working hours.
• No out-of-hours work or call-out rota.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis.
• Saturday work paid at time and a half.

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
• Strong experience in service, repair and installation.
• Experience working within commercial environments.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• A strong commitment to health and safety and quality workmanship.
• Relevant industry qualifications and certifications.
• A full UK driving licence.
