We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team carrying out , servicing, and repairs and installations on a wide range of systems and appliances. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients receive the highest quality of service whilst also maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out diagnostics, fault-finding, repairs and installations on gas systems and appliances
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on Gas Systems and appliances.
  • Conduct routine safety checks, gas leak detection ,preventative maintenance , and ensure full compliance with gas safety regulations.
  • Light commercial installations to replace faulty parts e.g pumps water heaters radiators
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure project efficiency.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to clients on energy efficiency and system optimization.
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work completed.

Qualifications

  • ACS CODNCO1 ICPN1,CIGA1
  • Relevant qualifications in gas engineering (e.g City & Guilds, NVQ).
  • Strong understanding of heating system controls and diagnostics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.

Summary

As a Commercial Gas Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of commercial gas systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and high-quality customer service.On occasion candidate will be required to work remotely ,ie Newcastle overnight stay and food allowance will be provided if required.
