The Role
This is a role where you take full ownership of the commercial performance of projects.
You sit at the centre of delivery, leading the commercial agenda from project award through to completion. From protecting margin to managing risk, you will play a critical role in ensuring projects deliver real value.
Your Day-to-Day
- Lead the commercial strategy across multiple live projects
- Own contract negotiations and ongoing commercial management
- Drive financial performance, budgets, forecasting and reporting
- Navigate change: variations, claims and cost control
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks before they impact delivery
- Partner closely with project and operational teams
- Build strong, credible relationships with clients and suppliers
What Sets You Apart
- Proven experience in a Commercial Manager (or similar) role
- Experience in project environments — construction, infrastructure, industrial or similar
- You understand what strong commercial performance looks like and how to deliver it
- Confident managing contracts and protecting commercial position
- Ability to manage multiple projects without losing detail
- Commercially sharp, proactive and solutions-focused
- NEC / FIDIC / JCT | QS background | IOSH or NEBOSH
