Commercial Manager – Fit Out & Small Works

A growing contractor specialising in fit out and small works is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to join its expanding team.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the commercial management of projects, while also leading and supporting a small commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of fit out and small works projects from tender through to final account.
• Manage valuations, variations, applications, forecasting and cost control.
• Work closely with clients, subcontractors and the operational team.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and support a small commercial team.
• Remain hands-on with the day-to-day commercial management of projects.

About You

You will ideally have:

• Experience as a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar.
• A background in fit out, refurbishment, interiors, construction or small works.
• Strong commercial, contractual and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring a small team.
• A proactive, hands-on and commercially focused approach.
