An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading specialist commercial fit-out and refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality, design-led workplace environments across London.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial delivery of major interior fit-out projects, taking responsibility for cost management, procurement, subcontractor packages and overall financial performance.

This role would suit a commercially driven professional with a strong background in commercial interior fit-out and experience delivering high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for interior fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Manage project costs, budgets, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Oversee procurement and commercial management of subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Manage valuations, variations, change control and final accounts.
• Work closely with Project Managers, site teams and senior leadership to ensure strong commercial performance.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed commercial and financial objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor or experienced Quantity Surveyor within commercial interior fit-out.
• Experience delivering high-value commercial fit-out projects, including CAT B schemes.
• Previous experience working on projects valued at £10M+ would be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, subcontract management, variations and final accounts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Construction qualification.
