Commercial Manager in Hook, Hampshire

I’m currently supporting a leading UK engineering business operating within the power and electrical infrastructure sector, with the recruitment of a Commercial Manager to join their team covering the South of England.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager or a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step up with a construction or infrastructure background to take ownership of the commercial function across the region, helping drive commercial strategy, financial performance and project delivery.

The role will involve:

• Leading contract management and commercial administration across projects.

• Supporting tender negotiations and managing customer and supply chain relationships.

• Overseeing cost control, cash flow, forecasting and financial reporting.

• Managing contractual variations, commercial risk and final accounts.

• Providing commercial leadership, guidance and support to the wider team.

They’re looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, excellent contractual knowledge and experience within the construction sector. A background in power, energy or wider infrastructure would be particularly relevant.
