Job Description for the Commercial Mobile Plumber:
- Repairing and installing commercial plumbing systems in line with current regulations
- Carrying out fault finding and diagnosing issues within commercial plumbing systems, providing high levels of first-time fix
- Maintaining PPM pipework and plumbing equipment.
- Assessing repair requirements and making appropriate decisions where the work required differs from the original job order.
- Providing professional customer service and keeping tenants, clients and management informed about repairs and any required follow-up works.
- Protecting customers' and tenants' furnishings and property while carrying out work.
- Liaising with clients, management and office-based teams to ensure works are completed effectively.
- Completing all work safely, diligently and in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures.
- Purchasing materials using a best-value and cost-effective approach.
- Completing relevant job documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintaining company vehicles, tools, equipment and other property in a safe and clean condition.
- Identifying and quoting for additional works where appropriate.
- Participating in an emergency out-of-hours call-out rota.
- A recognised plumbing apprenticeship and/or relevant qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 Plumbing or City & Guilds.
- Proven commercial plumbing experience, including fault finding, repair and maintenance.
- A flexible approach to working, with a willingness to travel between multiple sites.
- The ability to work additional hours when required, with overtime payable.
- Willingness to participate in an emergency call-out rota.
- Excellent communication skills to deal with customers, tenants and colleagues.
- The ability to work independently using own initiative, as well as effectively within a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The ability to satisfy an enhanced DBS check and employment reference requirements.
This role would suit candidates with the following experience:
Commercial Plumber, Commercial Plumbing Engineer, Plumbing Engineer, Maintenance Plumber, Building Services Plumber, Commercial Maintenance Engineer or experienced Plumbing Technician with commercial-sector experience.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
