Commercial Property Solicitor in East Molesey, Surrey

Our client is seeking an ambitious and technically strong Commercial Property Solicitor with 3–5 years’ PQE to join their established and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded regional law firm, managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters for a diverse client base, including local businesses, developers, landlords and high-net-worth investors. Key responsibilities

• Managing freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals from instruction through to completion.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases, renewals, assignments, licences and break clauses.
• Assisting with development matters, including conditional contracts, option agreements and planning-related issues.
• Advising on secured lending, property finance and refinancing transactions.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, local agents and other professional contacts.
• Contributing to business development initiatives, networking and the continued growth of the firm's commercial property practice.

Key Attributes

• Strong technical knowledge of commercial property law, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach, with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of risk.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A collaborative attitude and an interest in contributing to the wider success of the team.
• Knowledge of the Surrey property market would be advantageous, as would an enthusiasm for working within an established regional practice where client relationships and community connections are valued.
