Duties of a Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive:
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets aligned with KPIs
  • Utilise resources effectively to ensure smooth departmental operations
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships via professional and ethical interaction
  • Identify customer needs accurately and recommend appropriate products and services
  • Maximise opportunities for new business acquisition
  • Promote and upsell accessories, warranties, and financing options 
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and communicate this confidently to customers
  • Support team initiatives and assist colleagues to enhance overall performance
  • Keep up to date with FCA qualifications and ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements of a Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive:
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • Proven experience in high-volume vehicle sales within the motor trade industry 
  • Full UK driving licence held for at least six months, with fewer than nine penalty points
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong negotiation and influencing abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Demonstrable ability to prospect and convert profitable business
  • Strong self-management skills, with proactive ownership of responsibilities
  • Resilience, motivation, and commitment to personal development
  • Ability to understand and meet both customer and business needs
