Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable Commis Chef with an enhanced DBS to support a busy kitchen team in Broadstairs for a short-term assignment. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working in a fast-paced environment and can maintain high standards of food preparation and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Food preparation including chopping, portioning, and basic cooking tasks
• Supporting the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
• Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen cleanliness
• Ensuring smooth service during busy periods

Requirements

• Valid Enhanced DBS
• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar kitchen role
• Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions
• Strong awareness of food safety and allergen procedures
• Punctual, professional, and able to work independently when needed

Shift Details

• Dates: 11th–14th August
• Hours: 10:00-20:00
• Pay: £16.00 per hour (weekly assignment)
