About the role

Our client is growing and seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of innovative lighting control systems across commercial projects. This is a hands-on, site-based position with full training available for trainee-level candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Commission and configure lighting control systems on site
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams
• Ensure projects meet specifications and deadlines
• Produce clear documentation and reports
• Travel across London and surrounding areas as required

About you (requirements)

• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer-facing ability
• Willingness to travel within your region
• Experience in commissioning, electrical installation or building services (desirable)
• Trainee applicants welcome with a proactive, hands-on attitude
