Your new role
As Community Coordinator, you will be at the heart of the customer and member experience, acting as a key point of contact for tenants, visitors and stakeholders. This diverse role blends customer service, community engagement, events management, sales support and operational coordination.
Working closely with the Community Manager, you will help deliver outstanding service, increase member engagement and contribute to the commercial success of the location.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for members, visitors and enquiries.
- Managing meeting room bookings and supporting the achievement of meeting room revenue targets.
- Supporting member retention through relationship building and renewal conversations.
- Assisting with workspace tours and responding to prospective member enquiries.
- Planning and delivering engaging member events that foster a strong community culture.
- Supporting sales and marketing activities, including research, lead generation and data management.
- Managing incoming calls, post and deliveries while maintaining excellent service standards.
- Coordinating access requests, contractor sign-ins and facilities-related activities.
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators including occupancy, retention and ancillary revenue streams.
- Supporting daily operational routines, opening and closing procedures, compliance activities and health & safety requirements.
- Acting as a capable deputy for the Community Manager when required, helping to maintain continuity and high standards across the workspace.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, community, hospitality, workspace, facilities or business support role.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience coordinating events, meetings or member activities.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of sales, customer retention or revenue-generating activities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office and business systems.
- Proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within co-working, serviced office, hospitality, property or facilities environments.
- Exposure to sales support, lead generation or member retention activities.
- Knowledge of health and safety processes and operational compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting social media, marketing initiatives or community engagement programmes.
