Our client is a successful construction and refurbishment contractor with a strong commitment to delivering meaningful social value and positive community outcomes. They are looking for a Community Investment Executive to support the delivery, monitoring and reporting of social value commitments across a range of projects.

The client are based near Romford but due to the nature of the role, the position will be mostly field/remote, with travel to the office once a week on average. Starting salary will be between £30-50k depending on level of experience. They are looking for someone who can develop with the role and company in the long term.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of social value proposals for tenders and help create project-specific action plans.
  • Coordinate the delivery of social value initiatives including apprenticeships, work placements, volunteering activities and community engagement events.
  • Work closely with project teams to embed social value commitments into daily site operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, housing associations, schools, colleges, job centres and community organisations.
  • Engage and support subcontractors and supply chain partners in meeting social value targets and obligations.
  • Monitor, collect and validate project data, ensuring accurate reporting against contractual commitments and KPIs.
  • Produce regular reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring all records remain compliant and audit-ready.
About You:
  • At least 1 years experience in social value, CSR, sustainability, community engagement or a similar position.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
  • Experience tracking data and producing reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Ideally understanding of construction bids or National TOMs framework
