JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must:
- Be an NMC-registered nurse.
- Have previous Community Nursing experience.
- Have access to a vehicle and a valid driving licence.
- Hold appropriate business-use motor insurance for community visits.
The required competencies include:
- Catheterisation:
- Urethral Male
- Urethral Female
- Suprapubic
- Blocked Urethral
- Blocked Suprapubic
- Insulin administration:
- Type 1 Diabetes (T1DM)
- Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM)
- Compression Bandaging
- Pleurex/Rocket Drains
- Phlebotomy
- Syringe Driver Set-up
- Verification of Expected Death
- Wound Care
- Safeguarding awareness for adults receiving care at home
Rates
- Days Approx. £24 per hour, dependent on experience & client approval
- Nights/Sat Approx. £28 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval
- Sundays/bank holidays Approx. £35 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval
