Community Paediatrician (Onsite near Hereford)

We’re recruiting an experienced Community Paediatrician to deliver high‑quality ADHD assessments in a community setting near Hereford. This flexible, sessional role offers 3-5 days per week with an October/November start and a competitive day rate of £1,500 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake comprehensive ADHD assessments for children and young people in line with NICE NG87 and local pathways.
• Conduct diagnostic interviews, gather collateral information (school/home), and produce clear, actionable assessment reports.
• Liaise with families, schools, CAMHS and education partners to support care planning and onward referrals where needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and meet service KPIs for timeliness and quality.

Requirements:

• GMC‑registered Consultant or Specialty Doctor in Community Paediatrics (or equivalent) with recent, substantive ADHD assessment experience.
• Confident applying NICE NG87 and local ADHD diagnostic/management pathways.
• Excellent communication skills with children, families and multi‑agency partners.
• UK right to work, up‑to‑date DBS (or willing to undergo), and occupational health clearance.
