About LOS Electrical
LOS Electrical is a specialist electrical contractor delivering large-scale industrial installations, predominantly within the water industry.
We are a team of around 30 skilled professionals working primarily with Thames Water, delivering:
• Large-scale electrical installations
• Hazardous area DSEAR and ATEX design & installations
• In-house panel building
• MCC installations with leading system integrators
• Electrical design and system upgrades

The Role
As part of our site team, you will carry out electrical installation, inspection, and testing on client projects across Greater London and the Thames Valley region.
This is a field-based role involving travel to project sites.
You will:
• Undertake hazardous area installations in line with BS (phone number removed)
• Carry out inspection and testing in line with BS (phone number removed)
• Install containment, cabling, earthing arrangements and control systems
• Conduct ATEX inspections and produce reports
• Diagnose and rectify faults
• Work from drawings, DSDs, EC Type Examination Certificates and manufacturer documentation
• Complete accurate installation and testing documentation
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health and safety
• Represent LOS professionally on site
You will report into site supervision and the Engineering Management team overseeing DSEAR compliance across the business.
You will be expected to work competently and independently once briefed.
Salary & Package
• Up to £27.40 per hour (Depending on experience)
• 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Earnings up to approximately £71,000 per year before overtime
• Overtime available
• Company van and fuel card

• Funded training and additional qualifications

Essential Requirements
• ECS Card
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• CompEx EX01 – EX04 (EX09 – EX10 acceptable with minimum 2 years ATEX experience)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Fit for Work medical
Desirable
• City and Guilds 2391 or 2394 and 2395
• EUSR
• TWSP
• PASMA, IPAF or Confined Space
• Industrial or panel wiring experience
• Experience within water or heavy industrial environments
