Job Title: Complaints & PALS Assistant
Location: Role can be worked remotely or if candidates prefer onsite working at Warneford Hospital OX3 7JX
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Role type: Temporary for 3 months with possibility of becoming permanent
Role details:
The post holder has specific responsibility to support the Complaints and PALS Team to help to facilitate speedy resolution of problems/concerns raised by service users, their relatives and carers through liaison with Trust staff and other agencies. To provide high quality administrative support to the Complaints & PALS Team.
Duties to include:
- To assist the service/team in all administration duties relating to the day to day running of the team/service, for example, managing correspondence, organising files/Records, scheduling and Logistics, and office coordination.
- Provide a high standard of administration support to the team/service.
- To assist in the provision of high standards of data collection ensuring paper and electronic information is updated in a timely manner.
- Organise own workload and act independently within appropriate guidelines.
- To provide a polite and efficient reception service to visitors if required
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
- Experience of working to objectives and achieving results.
- Experience of using Office computer programs including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong administration skills
- Reliable and organised paying attention to detail, with excellent interpersonal skills
- PALS experience (desirable)
