Complex Care Support Worker / Complex Carer
Clover care group limited
24-Hour Complex Care Package | Berkhamsted | Days & Nights | Ongoing Work | Weekly Pay
At Clover Care Group, we believe great care starts with seeing the person, not just their care needs.
We are looking for experienced, reliable and compassionate Complex Care Support Workers / Complex Carers to join an established 24-hour care package supporting an individual in their own home.
The Role
This is an ongoing opportunity offering regular day and night shifts, working as part of a dedicated nurse-led care team.
You will always work alongside a nurse while on shift, providing reassurance and support while delivering safe, person-centred care.
Alongside clinical care, you'll support personal care, comfort, repositioning and everyday activities, helping to maintain dignity, choice and quality of life.
You'll need to be confident following detailed care plans and clinical protocols, recognising changes in condition and escalating concerns appropriately.
Key Clinical Experience
The package includes a range of complex clinical needs, including:
- 24-hour invasive ventilation
- Tracheostomy care, including suction and airway management
- Emergency procedures in line with the individual's care plan and training
- TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) support and monitoring
- RIG medication administration
- Diabetes care and monitoring
- Suprapubic catheter care
- Colostomy / stoma care
- Medication administration and accurate documentation
- Monitoring observations and recognising signs of deterioration
- Infection prevention and control
About You & Our Values
We're looking for people who combine strong clinical skills with genuine compassion.
You should be:
- Experienced in complex care
- Confident with invasive ventilation and tracheostomy care
- Calm and reassuring in a high-acuity environment
- Observant and able to recognise changes in an individual's condition
- Reliable and consistent
- Comfortable working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Confident following detailed care plans and clinical procedures
- Respectful of dignity, privacy and personal choice
- Committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Experience with TPN, RIG medication, diabetes, suprapubic catheter and colostomy care would be highly desirable.
Most importantly, we're looking for carers who understand that clinical expertise is only part of providing excellent care. We want people who take the time to build trust, listen and see the individual behind the care needs.
Training & Competency
All carers will complete the required package-specific training and competency assessments before undertaking clinical tasks independently.
You'll receive support from the clinical team to ensure you are confident and competent to provide care safely within the package.
