Bell Cornwall Recruitment is recruiting for a Compliance and Risk Solicitor to join a national professional services firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional to provide compliance advice, support business projects and improve risk management processes within a supportive and forward-thinking team. The role offers flexibility to work from various Midlands offices, including Birmingham, Worcester and Banbury, with regular travel to the Ashby-de-la-Zouch head office as and when required.

Compliance and Risk Solicitor Responsibilities:

• Providing legal, risk and compliance advice across the business.
• Reviewing contracts, policies and internal procedures.
• Advising on GDPR, AML, conflicts of interest and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting projects and improving risk management processes.
• Identifying opportunities to introduce automation and AI

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualification as a solicitor or equivalent professional qualification.
• A proactive approach, commercial awareness and a full driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of legal, risk and compliance matters.
• Experience in a professional services or regulated environment.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
