Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and passionate about governance and compliance?
We're looking for a collaborative and proactive Compliance Coordinator to join our
Governance team, supporting the delivery of CIPS' risk, compliance, governance and data
protection framework across our global organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a broad range of
activities, building relationships with stakeholders, coordinating projects, and helping ensure
the organisation maintains effective governance and regulatory compliance practices

What you’ll be doing
You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of CIPS' governance, risk, compliance
and data protection activities, helping to ensure that policies, processes and regulatory
requirements are effectively managed across the organisation.
Working closely with colleagues throughout the business, you will coordinate compliance
activities, provide guidance on governance requirements, manage key documentation and
registers, and support the implementation of compliance frameworks and projects. You will
also help monitor regulatory developments, maintain policy review schedules, support data
protection processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of governance standards
and compliance practices.
Alongside this, you will support the preparation of governance reports, presentations and
committee materials, administer compliance systems and processes, and provide support and
guidance on compliance-related enquiries. Through building effective relationships across the
organisation, you will help foster a positive culture of accountability, governance and
continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
We're looking for a candidate who can demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to
detail and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and
professionalism.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and
accurate documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at
all levels.
• The ability to plan and prioritise work effectively while managing competing demands.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Experience gained in governance, compliance, risk, audit, policy management, administration,
project coordination or similar environments would be beneficial. We also welcome
applications from candidates with transferable skills and experience from other sectors and
backgrounds.
