Compliance Coordinator – Housing Association - £20.22 per hour
About the Company - Compliance Coordinator - Housing Association:
Comuno Talent Partners is working with a regional housing association to recruit a Compliance Coordinator on an initial 6 month contract with the possibility to become permanent.
As Compliance Coordinator, you will be supporting a range of property management related duties, ensuring that properties are fully compliant with all statutory, regulatory and corporate requirements. Focus will be given to ensuring both maintenance and compliance requirements are monitored and supported and assist in the delivery of all types of building surveys, inspections, works and task planning.
Duties - Compliance Coordinator - Housing Association:
- Responsible for managing and providing a full range of support activities to a multi-disciplinary technical team, including, but not limited to, pre- planned servicing / inspection programmes, response repair, maintenance, empty properties, compliance, new development properties, private rented lettings and planning and investment schemes.
- Provide support that ensures the accuracy, validation and integrity of compliance data and the effective storage and retrieval of compliance records and documentation.
- Ensure all work areas are successfully delivered within target and standard and that evidence and audit trails are maintained.
- Responsible for ensuring that IT systems, databases and processes are updated to provide evidence and assurance for audit purposes.
- Ensure maintenance and compliance surveying / inspection, servicing and programmes are coordinated in an effective manner with other teams and that proactive solutions are implemented to minimise ‘no access’ issues and make best use of all points of access to ensure compliance.
- Collect and update the asset management, housing and financial management systems, including scrutinising documentation and service records for accuracy and completeness.
- To monitor the progress of all assigned tasks and ensure a proactive approach is maintained to satisfy both internal and external customers’ requests for service ‘right first time’.
Person Specification - Compliance Coordinator - Housing Association:
- Level 3 qualification in Business Administration or equivalent - Desirable
- Experience of delivering a business / compliance support service within a property maintenance or technical working environment - Essential
- Demonstrate the ability to use IT programmes and platforms to maintain accurate records, analysing and updating core IT systems and databases associated with statutory maintenance and compliance programmes of work.
- An understanding of health and safety legislation relevant to property maintenance and construction projects
- Evidence of co-ordinating and demonstrating the importance of value for money in everyday operations.
- Demonstrates a commitment to H&S to ensure safe operations and environment for staff and customers.
- Demonstrates a high level of skill in business support gained through extensive knowledge and relevant experience.
- A proven track record in delivering a business support service within a property maintenance environment.
