Rate: Up to £24.00 per hour
Status: Outside IR35
We are seeking an experienced Composite Laminator to join a busy and growing composites team working on a range of exciting projects within motorsport, aerospace, and high-performance industries. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge materials and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Laminating high-quality carbon fibre and composite components to engineering drawings and lay-up manuals.
- Preparing moulds, materials, and tooling for production.
- Carrying out vacuum bagging, debulking, and autoclave operations.
- Trimming, bonding, and finishing components to exact specifications.
- Ensuring all work meets strict quality standards and deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Composite Laminator (ideally within motorsport, aerospace, or similar high-performance industries).
- Strong knowledge of pre-preg laminating techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and lay-up manuals.
- High attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work under pressure.
- Flexible and reliable, with the willingness to work overtime.
