Job Description

Clarence Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a progressive secondary school in Coventry to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a successful and innovative department, teaching Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire students to develop their coding ability, computational thinking and understanding of digital technologies.

The school is recognised for its supportive leadership, modern ICT facilities and commitment to both student achievement and staff wellbeing.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Python, alongside core theoretical content
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
• A genuine enthusiasm for Computer Science and emerging technologies
• The ability to motivate and challenge learners of varying abilities
• A commitment to achieving excellent student outcomes
• A positive, collaborative approach to working within a department
