Computing Teacher – Secondary School

Location: Haringey, London
Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per annum (M1–UPS3), dependent on experience and qualifications
Contract: Full-time, Long-term Temporary
Start: September 2026 – immediate/as soon as possible

Teach Now is seeking an enthusiastic Computing Teacher for a long-term secondary opportunity in Haringey.

You will teach pupils across KS3 and KS4, covering key areas such as programming, algorithms, computer systems, networks, data and digital literacy while supporting GCSE preparation.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and teach engaging Computing lessons.
  • Develop pupils' programming and problem-solving skills.
  • Teach key concepts including algorithms, networks, hardware and data.
  • Prepare GCSE pupils for assessments and examinations.
  • Use practical tasks to make technical concepts accessible.
  • Track pupil progress and provide effective feedback.
We are looking for
  • UK QTS or recognised equivalent.
  • Degree or strong subject knowledge in Computing, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Experience teaching secondary pupils or strong ECT placements.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and GCSE Computing content.
  • Good classroom and behaviour management.
