Concierge

Apricus Resourcing are working with a Social Housing provider in relation to a Night Concierge Role with roles available in Stoke, Congleton & Macclesfield. 

Within your role you will provide a point of contact overnight and an on-site presence out of hours in their supported accommodation services ensuring the safety and security of the building tenants, residents and service users. 

Key Duties for the role: 

• To be responsible for safeguarding service users out of hours through awareness of escalation of concern process, reporting concerns to relevant agencies 
• To promote compliance and adherence with license agreement and Behaviour Management policy 
• To be first contact for service users out of hours to signpost to appropriate support and act to manage or de-escalate incidents in a person-centred way to meet the needs of and ensure safety of individuals within the service in line with the Associations values.
• To act as first point of contact for the on-call system ensuring clear and concise information is recorded and reported to the on-call manager or on-call cover for the service, or emergency services (where appropriate) in accordance with policies 
• To carry out light cleaning duties in the absence of cleaning staff to maintain the cleanliness

In order to be considered for the role you will need good communication skills to be able to respond to staff and Tenants, Residents and Service Users in a professional & responsible manner. 

You will be expected to travel across the region’s service to meet the requirement for the role. Applicants should be able to demonstrate how they would meet this requirement. 

You will also need to move around the building and provide waking cover overnight or at weekends. Finally you will be required to show relevant experience of working in a support environment with vulnerable adults. 

The role is paying £17.30/h and is based on a temp to perm basis - the role will be paying £28,150.85 for 40.25 hrs per week.
