Construction Administrator

Arcona are representing a Construction business who are seeking to recruit a highly organised Construction Administrator to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a background in the construction industry who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced project environment.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support across multiple construction projects, ensuring project documentation, compliance records and reporting requirements are maintained to a high standard. The role will also involve supporting project teams with BREEAM-related documentation and evidence collection throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to project and site teams.
  • Maintain and manage project documentation, records, trackers and filing systems.
  • Assist with the collection and submission of BREEAM evidence and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate information between clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Prepare reports, meeting minutes and project correspondence.
  • Manage project registers, trackers and compliance records.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date and distributed appropriately.
  • Support mobilisation and handover processes as required.
  • Assist with audits and document reviews.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous construction industry experience is essential.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience within a Document Controller or Information Coordinator position would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience managing document control systems and project information workflows.
  • Knowledge of BREEAM requirements and sustainability documentation processes.
  • Experience supporting construction, fit-out, fire protection, refurbishment or main contractor projects.
