Our client is an established construction organisation with a proven track record in delivering complex engineering projects to the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all on-site activities for civil works, ensuring compliance with design and specification requirements
- Manage earthworks, highways, drainage, structures, and associated infrastructure to programme and cost objectives
- Oversee subcontractors and supply chain partners, ensuring strong adherence to schedules and quality targets
- Implement rigorous health, safety, and environmental controls across all project stages
- Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and produce accurate project reporting for stakeholders
- Drive efficient resource allocation and cost control to maintain project viability
- Foster effective communication between design teams, site engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth delivery
- Demonstrable experience as a Construction Manager in civil engineering projects (infrastructure, highways, drainage, or major groundworks)
- In-depth knowledge of civil construction techniques and relevant compliance standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage diverse site teams
- Strong commercial and programme management understanding
- Proficiency in site and project management systems
