Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD

Remote-friendly

Position: Construction Project Manager

Location: Leeds / Sutton-in-Ashfield initially, Salford project when on site

Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 + car allowance

Bennett & Game are representing an established and growing construction contractor who are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their Build Division and take responsibility for a major new leisure centre development in Salford.

The business forms part of a wider £70m turnover group, with the Build Division generating approximately £30m-£40m annually. The division delivers projects ranging from smaller works through to schemes valued at approximately £28m-£30m, with leisure centres and swimming pool developments forming a significant part of its workload. The company has built a strong position through the UK leisure framework, with repeat business and early contractor involvement allowing its teams to influence projects from inception through design development and into full construction delivery.

The role will provide the opportunity to join a £19m new-build leisure centre project in Salford from the PCSA stage and remain with the scheme through to completion. The project is currently around halfway through PCSA, with construction expected to commence in Q1/Q2 2027 and an approximately 18-month construction programme. Initially, the successful candidate will work on the PCSA and wider pre-construction workload on a hybrid basis from either the Leeds or Sutton-in-Ashfield office before becoming site based in Salford once construction starts. This is a permanent position with the opportunity to join early, understand the project and shape its delivery rather than simply inheriting a live site.

* 10% annual bonus scheme
