Marylebone · Permanent
£8m project. 18-month programme. Seven levels. Six luxury apartments. Two buildings. One Project Manager. And a partridge in a pear tree.
Yes, it's a little early for Christmas. But with an immediate start, we're hoping to have the Project Manager unwrapped well before December.
I'm looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to take the lead on a rather interesting cut-and-carve refurbishment in Central London.
The plan is for the Construction Project Manager to take two existing buildings, combine them, rearrange much of what's inside and turn the whole thing into six rather lovely high-end apartments.
Simple enough. Apart from virtually everything in between.
The project:
- £8m construction value
- Circa 18-month programme
- Complex structural alterations and floor level changes
- New lift and stair cores
- Potential additional floor and private terraces
- Super-prime residential finishes throughout
Planning is granted, procurement is complete through to watertight shell, and the final party wall awards are being wrapped up.
So we're not starting with a blank sheet of paper. Just a building that's going to look rather different by the time we've finished with it.
The client wants someone on board ASAP.
You'll need to know your way around complex London refurbishments, particularly cut & carve, and have the experience to manage the structural challenges, programme, subcontractors and eventual high-end finishes.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
