Construction Project Manager

Waites Recruitment Consultancy are seeking a construction fit out project manager on a full time basis for a client in Lichfield (Staffordshire) fantastic opportunity.

This is a full-time role, located in Lichfield, for an experienced fit out Project Manager to join our Employee Ownership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring  that  they  are  delivered  on  time,  within  budget,  to  the  client's  satisfaction, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management in the construction or related industry

Strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality

Understanding of construction techniques with a particular reference to carpentry, joinery, ceilings, partitions and finishing trades.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Demonstrated  ability  to manage  project  teams  and to  communicate  effectively  with  stakeholders  at  all levels

Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards

Computer literate & proficient in project management software tools such as MS Project.

Salary circa £60k + hybrid/Electric company vehicle..

Our Requirements:

• Must have shopfitting back ground, whilst Site Management experience is a positive candidate also need to have Contracts Manager experience
• with appropriate Principal Contractor side experience (not Client or Consultant),
• and experience of Retail/Leisure Fit out and refurbishment, - (Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Co-op, B&Q, Primark, John Lewis, Apple, H&M, Wilko, TK Maxx, Starbucks, CVS Vets, Vue Cinema, EE stores, Vodaphone, NF Club Nursery’s, Centre Parcs and Costa Coffee…)

• ability to deliver Multiple projects at any one time,
• with Project values typically from £100k - £1m with duration 3 – 10 weeks.
• Comfortable dealing with projects on multiple shifts, night works and weekends if necessary.
• Reside within 45 minutes of our office at Fradley Park
• Black CSCS Managers card
• Proficient with Microsoft Project
