Customer Service Advisors
Location: Bristol City Centre

Contract: Temporary until end of October
Pay: £13.50 per hour

 
About the Role

We're recruiting multiple Customer Service Advisors to join a friendly and supportive team assisting students with accommodation enquiries ahead of the new academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, providing outstanding customer service and working in a busy, fast-paced environment.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for students, offering guidance and reassurance through a range of communication channels while ensuring every interaction is handled with empathy, professionalism and efficiency.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to student enquiries via phone, email and messaging services 

  • Provide advice and information relating to student accommodation, bookings and general queries

  • Offer a friendly, empathetic and professional service to students, understanding their individual circumstances and providing appropriate support 

  • Resolve customer queries or escalate more complex issues where required 

  • Complete administrative tasks accurately, including updating customer records and processing requests

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained

  • Ensure all communications are handled promptly, professionally and in line with company procedures. 

Working Hours


Shifts are worked on a rota basis between the hours of 8am – 8pm with some flexibility on offer. You'll be required to work one in every two weekends.

 
About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • An excellent communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service

  • Empathetic, patient and able to build rapport with a wide range of people 

  • Confident managing enquiries across phone, email and digital messaging platforms

  • Well organised with strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail 

  • Able to remain calm and professional while managing a busy workload

  • Previous experience within customer service, administration, retail, hospitality or a contact centre environment would be advantageous
