Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to support the coordination and delivery of continuous improvement activities and programmes, monitoring progress and tracking deliverables against agreed targets.
The successful candidate will use data and performance information from governance and reporting reviews to identify improvement opportunities, support benchmarking activities, and monitor organisational performance. The role will play a key part in ensuring improvement initiatives are aligned with agreed objectives and performance targets.
This position requires an analytical and organised individual who can develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel, providing actionable insights to support the prioritisation, delivery, and tracking of continuous improvement activities. Working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will help promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
- Lead and manage the implementation of continuous improvement programmes across the account, with a focus on streamlining processes and reducing waste.
- Gather, analyse and interpret performance data to identify strengths, weaknesses, trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel and related reporting tools.
- Monitor KPIs and track the progress of improvement projects, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement methodologies and initiatives.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and report on outcomes and performance metrics.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging participation, innovation and the sharing of improvement ideas.
Person Specification
- Experience in continuous improvement, performance analysis or project coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Power BI, Excel, Power Query or similar reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse business information and processes to support operational efficiency improvements.
- Experience monitoring performance metrics and tracking improvement initiatives against agreed targets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.
