A leading, rapidly expanding FMCG food manufacturer in East Glasgow is looking for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator to spearhead the rollout of Lean and CI projects across their factory site. This is a pivotal, days-based position where you will directly influence production efficiency, eliminate waste, and elevate product quality.

Key Responsibilities of the CI Coordinator
As CI Coordinator, you won't just follow processes—you will build a culture of excellence. Your core focus will include:

Championing Lean Initiatives: Present, facilitate, and lead high-impact Lean improvement events and workshops across the factory.

Data-Driven Problem Solving: Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis, leverage Business Central Data, and use precise measurement methods to map and document clear process improvements.

Strategic Reporting: Develop and deliver concise reports to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), tracking milestones, engagement, and alignment with our global Lean agenda.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with floor-level production teams to identify bottlenecks, implement solutions, and streamline information flow across departments.

Safety Leadership: Proactively integrate safety awareness into every improvement strategy—ensuring efficiency never comes at the cost of safety.

Project Oversight: Manage and maintain full visibility over multiple concurrent CI projects from conception to completion.
About You
To excel in the role as Continuous Improvement Coordinator, you will ideally bring:

A solid background in a complex fast paced manufacturing environment (Operations, Production, or Process).

Proven knowledge and practical experience with CI tools and Lean methodologies.

Strong analytical skills—you are comfortable interpreting data to build a compelling business case for change.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage operators on the shop floor and influence stakeholders in the boardroom.
