Job Title: Mechanical Assembler / Production Technician

Job Type: Contract – 9 months

Location: Fareham

Rate: Late shift £21.74 rising to £22.42 per hour

Early shift £19.93 rising to £20.55 per hour

Hours: Early or late shift

Early shift - 6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday and 1:30 finish on a Friday

Late Shift – 2 pm – 11:45pm Mon – Thursday (4 days, no Fridays)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical assembler to join an exciting, progressive manufacturing business working on precision products.

Mechanical Assembler role:

• Assembling of mechanical parts
• Following engineering drawings
• Testing of assemblies
• Documenting process
• Working as a team and individual

Required experience for this Mechanical Assembler role

• Previous mechanical assembling or fitting
• Use of hand and small power tools
• Able to read and follow engineering drawings and instructions.
• Soldering experience (not essential)
