Contract Multi Skilled Engineer

Questech Recruitment are looking for a multi skilled engineer (either bias) for one of our clients on a contract basis in a fast-paced, high-volume environment this role will be based in Malton.

The Pay:
£35 per hour

The Shifts:
4 on 4 off nights

The Role

• Provide reactive and planned maintenance across production lines

• Support continuous improvement initiatives

• Fault-find on electrical and/or mechanical systems

• Minimise downtime and ensure maximum line efficiency

• Work closely with production and hygiene teams to maintain food safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments

• Strong fault-finding skills (electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled)

• Experience with PLCs, conveyors, packaging machinery, or automated systems

• Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)

• Availability for shift work (days/nights depending on contract)
