Contract Siemens PLC Software Engineer

Contract – Outside IR35

Fully Remote - 2-month Contract

Up to £80 per hour – Dependant on experience

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of high-performance machinery, and they are seeking a Siemens PLC Software Engineer to join them on a short-term contract basis. The man responsibility for this position would be to convert a Siemens SCADA Project into a new format.

Siemens PLC Software Engineer Responsibilities:

-          Assist with the project from concept through to delivery

-          Convert a SCADA project for a new control system

-          Programme for PLCs in Siemens S7

-          Test and ensure that the script functions meet the system requirements

-          Tag logging and alarm logging

Siemens PLC Software Engineer Responsibilities:

-          Must be an experienced Siemens PLC Software Engineer

-          Experienced with SCADA projects

-          Able to convert a WinCC V7.5 SCADA project into a Siemens Unified comfort panel

-          Good verbal & written communication skills are a must.
