Contractor Escort

Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for Contractor Escorts to work at HMP Garth on an ongoing temporary contract.This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a secure environment while supporting the delivery of essential maintenance and construction projects across the prison estate.

The Role

As a Contractor Escort, you will be responsible for escorting contractors and visitors throughout the prison site, ensuring all security procedures are followed at all times.Your duties will include:

• Escorting contractors to and from designated work areas
• Monitoring contractor activities within the establishment
• Maintaining accurate records and movement logs
• Ensuring compliance with prison security procedures
• Reporting any incidents, concerns, or breaches of protocol
• Assisting site management with the coordination of contractor access
• Promoting a safe and secure working environment

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain professional in a secure environment
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Previous experience in security, facilities, construction, customer service, or a similar role is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to pass prison security vetting

Security Clearance
