The Role
We are looking for a dependable and highly organised Contracts Administrator to join our Business Support team, providing commercial and administrative support across procurement, supplier management and contract administration.
Working closely with colleagues across Technology, Finance and external suppliers, you will play a key role in ensuring purchasing activity is well managed, contract information is maintained accurately, and colleagues have the information they need to make informed commercial decisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and commercial awareness who enjoys working with detail, building effective relationships and supporting business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain quotations and support day-to-day purchasing activities.
- Maintain the contracts register, ensuring contract information is accurate and up to date.
- Monitor contract renewal dates, commercial terms and supplier commitments, ensuring contract owners are aware of upcoming actions.
- Coordinate procurement activities and supplier administration.
- Support supplier and software licence management.
- Maintain software licence records and assist with compliance activities.
- Coordinate the disposal of IT hardware in line with company processes.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels of IT hardware to support business requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required.
You'll be organised, dependable and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, contract administration, supplier coordination, finance administration or a similar administrative support role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Good commercial and financial awareness.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, analytical approach.
- The ability to work independently while building strong working relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
- Experience or knowledge of IT asset management processes would be beneficial.
- An understanding of ITIL, particularly Asset Management, Request Fulfilment or Configuration Management, would be advantageous, although not essential.
